Day 1: Nairobi – Nanyuki
Welcome to the safari capital of the world! After exiting the Customs & Immigration Hall, please look out for our representative holding a sign with your name on it. After a short introduction start our journey to Ol Pejeta Conservancy.
The trip takes you through very pleasant country-side with pineapples, coffee and tea plantations with good view of the peaks of Mt. Kenya in clear weather.
Arrive in Nanyuki for lunch at Sweetwaters Tented camp.
Sweetwaters is a sheltered oasis clustered around a waterhole and set in the pristine calm of the private Ol Pejeta Conservancy.
At 1600hrs go for an evening game drive.
Dinner and overnight at Sweetwaters Tented camp.
Day 2: Ol Pejeta Conservancy
After breakfast, you will enjoy different optional activities like game viewing, walking safaris, visit to chimpanzee sanctuary, plus an exciting catalogue of; giraffe, zebra, eland, oryx, waterbuck, Grant’s gazelle, Thompson’s gazelle, cheetah, silver-backed jackal, hartebeest, baboon and several hundred bird species.
Return to camp for lunch.
After lunch optional activities like swimming in the camp pool, gift shop, camel treks, cultural dance and music.
In the evening from 7pm to 9pm, optional payable directly night game drive at Ol Pejeta conservancy.
The night game drives are an enjoyable experience, you will travel in an open game drive vehicle with very knowledgeable guides.
During the drives, your tracker uses a powerful spotlight searching for the nocturnal animals.
Expect to see a wide variety of animals not normally seen during the day, including aardvarks, bat-eared fox, porcupines, bushbabies, bushbucks, mongoose, genet cats and a number of nocturnal birds.
Return to Sweetwaters Tented camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Ol Pejeta Conservancy – Nairobi
This morning you have your final game drive and later depart Nanyuki for Nairobi.
Arrive in Nairobi in time for complementary lunch at the famous Carnivore restaurant / Pampa Grill Brazilian Restaurant.
Later be transferred to the airport for your outbound flight marking the end of a memorable safari.
